这个页面用来整理我个人常用的 Windows 平台上的软件，对于我个人不用但是却值得关注的项目，则另行整理至「服务、项目与网站」页面。以服务而非软件提供的东西（比如 Evernote, Dropbox 甚至 ManicTime 等等），即使它们有桌面客户端，也不列于本页，而是也整理至「服务、项目与网站」页面。

所有的命令行软件也已单独整理至「命令行应用及其使用方法 (Windows)」页面，因此亦不列于此页。故而尤其有关网络视频下载的软件以及应用于中国大陆的刻意折磨用户的一些服务的抗对方法须移步彼页面以参考。

很多商业软件我都给出了「海盗」法，这并非是因为我崇尚海盗、反对商业软件——恰恰相反，我很喜欢商业软件，也乐于为其付费。提供「海盗」只是作为给其他人的一个补充。个人来说，我只会在三种情况下使用海盗，就是：1. 它实在太贵了我暂时买不起（比如 SDL Trados）；2. 我就临时用一下；3. 正版比盗版（民间修改版）难用／正版有很多强制性限制或去不掉的无用而扰人的模块、正版提供方已不提供好用的老版本并强制用户使用新版本，或者，更有甚者：正版可能对电脑有害！
